Commander of Sri Lankan Army called on the PM

0 Lt Gen A. W. J De Silva, Commander of the Sri Lankan Army called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House today.
Expressing satisfaction over the level of existing cooperation between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the Prime Minister emphasized for further strengthening the defense related cooperation between the two countries. The PM stated that Pakistan and Sri Lanka need to enhance cooperation in various fields and work jointly for achieving regional peace and stability.
Lt Gen A. W. J De Silva thanked the Prime Minister for the warm welcome extended to him during his visit to Pakistan.
Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Defense and Lt. Gen. (R) Nasser Khan Janjua, National Security Advisor were also present during the meeting.
