Pakistan awards Scholarship to 83 brilliant Sri Lankan Students including 12 promising Journalists in 2nd Phase

The Government of Pakistan through its High Commission in Sri Lanka has awarded SL Rs 2 Million worth of educational scholarships last evening to 71 students of O/L and A/L and 12 promising working journalists under the second Phase of Jinnah Scholarship Programme 2014.
The ceremony to award Jinnah Educational Scholarship 2014 was held at Ananda College, Colombo under the auspices of the High Commission of Pakistan.
The Senior Minister of Urban Affairs, Hon. A. H. M. Fowzie was theChief Guest on the occasion, which was also graced by the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka HE Maj Gen ® Qasim Qureshi. The event was also attended by a large number of students and their families along with Pakistan High Commission officials, dignitaries and a large section of media.
