Pakistan terms drone attacks as a clear violation of its sovereignty

Pakistan has reiterated that drone attacks are a clear violation of its sovereignty and international laws

Pakistan says it considers drone attacks as a clear violation of its sovereignty and the international law.

Terming a statement attributed to Secretary Defence on the issue as baseless a Defence Ministry Spokesman in Islamabad said Pakistan has always been against drone attacks and it will not support any such activity.

The Spokesman said the Government has never showed any consent for holding such activity nor can it accord an approval for drone operations from its territory.

He said Pakistan has been lodging protests with United States‚ officially against conducting the drone strikes.
