Pakistan committed to stability in Afghanistan: Hina

Foreign Minister says Pakistan is committed to achieve stability in Afghanistan through Afghan-led and Afghan owned reconciliation process.
Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar says Pakistan is committed to achieve stability in Afghanistan through Afghan-led and Afghan owned reconciliation process in its own interest.
Addressing a seminar in Berlin she said it is for the Afghans themselves to define contours of the reconciliation.
The Foreign Minister said besides looking after two point five million Afghan refugees‚ Pakistan is actively contributing towards reconstruction of Afghanistan.
She said unilateral American drone strikes are in violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and counterproductive.
About performance of the government‚ Hina Rabbani Khar said present democratic government has taken a number of steps to strengthen institutions and ensure maximum provincial autonomy.
