This he said in a letter addressed toPakistan’s Ambassador in Washington Sherry Rehman.
The President said apology offered by the United Statesfor loss of Pakistani soldiers lives in a NATO attack on Salala Check Post is a vindication of Pakistan’s stance on the issue.
He said it is also an acknowledgement of the inviolability of Pakistan’s sovereignty.
Asif Ali Zardari commended the efforts of Sherry Rehman for her relentless efforts to present Pakistan’s point of view to the Obama Administration on the issue.
