Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has thanked Mr. D M Jayaratne, Prime Minister of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka for his felicitation on his assumption of the office of the Premier of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relationship with Sri Lanka. The momentum at which our relationship is growing across the whole spectrum of political, economic and social cultural fields bear testimony to this, said the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes and prayed for health happiness and continued progress of the brotherly people of democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
