Parliament has the Right to amend the constitution: Kaira

Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira says the Parliament has the right to amend and interpret the constitution as it represents the people

In an interview to a private TV Channel he said the Judiciary can only interpret the constitution on the issues confronting between the federation and a province.

Regarding Swiss cases‚ Qamar Zaman Kaira said President Asif Ali Zardari has no link with the money in Swiss Banks. He said Nawaz Sharif and Saifur Rehman who initiated the cases have admitted that they did wrong as there was no evidence against the President. He said in these circumstances there is no need to pursue these baseless cases
