The Foreign Minister has said re-opening of NATO supply route is a new beginning of bilateral relationship between Pakistan and the United States
Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has said reopening of NATO supply route is a new beginning of Pakistan-US bilateral relationship.
In an interview in Islamabad‚ she said reopening of NATO supply route is not only in the interest of the United States but also beneficial for other countries‚ having good relations with Pakistan.
The Minister said we have right to protest but we should respect when other countries change their positions for us.
Hina Rabbani Khar said NATO troops will start leaving Afghanistan in 2014 and Pakistan does not want to damage its ties with other countries.
She said major countries of the world have welcomed the decision made by Pakistan.
Hina Rabbani Khar in her interview said she made it clear to USSecretary of State Hillary Clinton that recommendations of the Pakistani parliament must be respected.
The Minister said drone attacks are counterproductive and is violation of sovereignty of Pakistan.
