Foreign Study Tour: 54th Pakistan Navy Staff Course (18-23 Feb 2025)

A delegation of 54th Pakistan Navy Staff Course of Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore is currently on visit of Sri Lanka from 18-23 Feb 2025 as part of Foreign Study Tour to enhance Defence/ Academic collaboration. The delegation comprises of 22 members, is headed by Commodore Ahsen Ali Khan, Pakistan Navy and includes 2 x Directing Staff, 12 x Pakistan Armed Forces course participant and 7 x Officers from Friendly Countries (KSA, Turkiya, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Indonesia).
The delegation of 54th Pakistan Navy Staff Course has arrived at BIA, Colombo (Sri Lanka) on 18 February 2025 and visited High Commission of Pakistan, Colombo Sri Lanka for interaction with H E. Major General (Retired) Faheem Ul Aziz, High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Sri Lanka and officers/ officials of the High Commission of Pakistan.
Participants of the course were briefed on the working of the Mission as well as Pakistan-Sri Lanka relations including the fields of political, defence, trade, culture and education.
Sri Lanka and Pakistan enjoy brotherly relations, which have strengthened over the period of time. Such visits provide ample opportunity to Pakistan and Sri Lankan Armed Forces Officers to learn through professional interactions with their counterparts and to enhance existing defence relations.
