Pakistan High Commission takes significant steps to support flood-affected communities in Sri Lanka

Pakistan High Commission being cognizant of recent impact of heavy rains and flood affected areas in the suburbs of Colombo, outreached the local community. On October 15, 2024, the High Commissioner of Pakistan, Maj. Gen. (Retd) Faheem Ul Aziz HI (M), distributed food items to around 650 families affected by recent floods in Kokamulla, Megoda, Kolonnawa area at the Al Noorania mosque, irrespective of ethnicity, cast or creed.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by the High Commission to provide relief to those in distress due to natural disasters. The initiative aimed to reduce the hardships faced by families affected by flooding, demonstrating Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian assistance towards Sri Lankan brethren.
